Barone starred in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld's fourth season as Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member on Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's previous wife on her debut Friends appearance.
