Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen. Hello! I'm Anne Phung Nguyen. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who lives with her wonderful husband JP and her family in Orange County California. Henry is a very happy and lucky father. People know me best through my Instagram page, @annephung. In this blog, I will share my story-the highs, the lows and all in between. I came to America with my brother and parents at the age of just one and a half years old. old I would not be here sharing my life to you, if not for my parents love determination and dedication. Given the chance to live an improved life, I wanted to do the best I could to please them and determined to achieve my goals. It was my plan to study to graduate, and then get a good job. After that, I was looking for a wife and kids. My idea of success was to go to college, graduate and get an employment in a corporation. I would then marry, buy a house and start a family. But life had different plans. My corporate job in 2013 was a job I hated. Money and status were not what I needed to feel happy. I felt I was living a solitary life to earn a paycheck. I was passionate about working out and I enjoyed having fun and helping people when I was navigating my new career path. I found my calling in personal training. My business was founded in the year 2014. My company is celebrating its 7th birthday this year. In the field of coaching, there are not many Asian women. Within the field of coaching I'm determined to change the world by offering high-quality coaching to aid others to become healthier and happier. I am also committed to empowering others so they are able to achieve their goals, follow their dreams and live your life to the fullest. As my career began to take off, I experienced the greatest loss of my life- the passing of my mom. She fought a long and arduous battle with Scleroderma and is resting in Heaven and is with me in my mind and heart always. The lessons of life often go unnoticed, but they can be highly beneficial. It was my mother's sudden death that changed me for good. And I really believe that it provided me with a chance at living a full and fulfilling life. She passed away in the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day. It was the day she decided to enter her next life. I got my second opportunity to live a happy and fulfilled life. In my 30's I'm alive and alert. I truly feel that I am living now instead of merely surviving as I was in my past. As I share the story of my journey, it's in the hope that others will be able to understand my feelings and thoughts. In order to feel that they're not the only ones. And that there is real love. Also that therapy is a necessity and it isn't unusual. In the end, your health is your biggest wealth. Only one life is yours. I want you to enjoy it to the max.
