The actress was featured in two episodes of the Showtime show Weeds with Mary Louise Parker. Her appearances included Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 program Point Pleasant, and Marcy as the character of Dawson's Creek. In the Guiding Light soap opera, Dollar appeared as Marina Cooper. This role brought her an award nomination from Soap Opera Digest in 2003 as Outstanding newcomer. Dollar appeared in the ABC soap opera Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 between 2007 and the year 2008. Dollar starred as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show never picked up.
