Sara Lynn Evans, born on February 5 1971, on the 5th of February in New Franklin Missouri was raised as the eldest child out of 7 siblings. She has always loved music and started singing with her family when she was age five. The singer began her professional career when she was 16 when she was a member of the club in Columbia Missouri for two years. Then, in 1991 she moved from Missouri to Nashville Tennessee with the intention to become a country artist. Sara sang a demo version of Tiger By the Tail, one of Harlan Howard's hits on the stage at County Q Studios. Harlan Howard determined that Sara would be able to perform his tunes.
